James Greenbank took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacosta Solomon. Dacosta Solomon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 13th minute, Benjy Wakefield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Greenbanks short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Dacosta Solomon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cuballing's Dacosta Solomon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Cuballing from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Cuballing getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dale Wivell hit a great ball. With his leg Dacosta Solomon managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when FC Waldo's James Greenbank fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute of the match Boyd Quigley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dacosta Solomon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dacosta Solomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyce Stageman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Archie Knevett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Groves in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Bert Groves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Archie Knevett. FC Waldo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bert Groves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Stageman in the 40th minute of play forced Cuballing's goalkeeper Dacosta Solomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Archie Knevett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angus Devere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. James Greenbank was the one to do the kick off. Dacosta Solomon came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Waldo's Boyce Stageman. But to his dismay, Boyce Stageman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Bert Groves came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Cuballing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Groves couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Cuballing defense, James Greenbank kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacosta Solomon. The Cuballing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacosta Solomon should have stopped the shot. After 65 minutes, Ren Bostock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuballing and the FC Waldo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Ren Bostock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacosta Solomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Greenbank, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dacosta Solomon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Greenbank in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cuballing's Dale Wivell got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes, Dagan Durbridge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Waldo and the Cuballing players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Boyce Stageman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dacosta Solomon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. James Greenbank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacosta Solomon having to interfere. A collision led to Cuballing getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dale Wivell hit a great ball. James Greenbank took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dacosta Solomon. Cuballing's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dacosta Solomon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Greenbank in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the FC Waldo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
