Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karl Bowie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Brynn Caddick's late challenge caught a Tooligie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brynn Caddick helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dewrang Lions fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Russ Bundy went to the wrong direction when Boyde Heberle was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 10th match minute, Tooligie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Kreck to maneuver through the defense. Dewrang Lions's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Emil Sanocki was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Matthew Nelson came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Dewrang Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Nelson couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Heriberto in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ace Gruer saved Tooligie from getting behind. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Emil Sanocki sped through Tooligie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ace Gruer. Andy Rosenboom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ace Gruer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobs Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Bart Markwell's late challenge caught a Dewrang Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of Dewrang Lions booed when Tooligie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Markwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Emil Sanocki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ace Gruer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, Dewrang Lions's Andy Rosenboom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ace Gruer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ace Gruer came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Dewrang Lions's Emil Sanocki. But to his dismay, Emil Sanocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Emil Sanocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Joseph Mcjunkins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dewrang Lions and the Tooligie players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Dewrang Lions's Russ Bundy got control of the ball when Handley Serena tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Tooligie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dewrang Lions were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Sanocki was the one to do the kick off. After 58 minutes of play, Dewrang Lions's Emil Sanocki made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ace Gruer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 played minutes Dewrang Lions got a freekick which was hit by Brynn Caddick. 63 minutes into the match, Tooligie's Boyde Heberle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 64 minutes, Nicolas Heriberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dewrang Lions and the Tooligie players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tooligie booed when Dewrang Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Sanocki in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ace Gruer saved Tooligie from getting behind. Ace Gruer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ace Gruer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Sanocki in the 69th minute of the match. After 73 minutes, Emil Sanocki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dewrang Lions and the Tooligie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Sanocki hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Emil Sanocki struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ace Gruer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dewrang Lions. When Dewrang Lions's Emil Sanocki in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tooligie's goalie prevented a goal. When Emil Sanocki came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Dewrang Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Sanocki couldn't finish the play. Dewrang Lions's Ľubomír Žák was substituted for Brynn Caddick. If Emil Sanocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tooligie's Jared Magnay got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes of play, Dewrang Lions's Emil Sanocki made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ace Gruer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Dewrang Lions left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tooligie.
