The referee ignored Pejar's protests and gave Humphrey Diefenbach a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Balgos booed when Pejar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humphrey Diefenbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Balgos's Jack Allen threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Best Cameron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Pejar's zone, Best Cameron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Allen came out of the goal and Best Cameron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Best Cameron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Allen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balgos played a much better game than Pejar and deserved their victory. The Pejar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
