The supporters of Tawaho booed when Goodia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Pincini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Connor Heath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berne Alves in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Bud Renney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After the first half Tawaho were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Berne Alves made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bud Renney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Connor Heath didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Pincini went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute, Bud Renney reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rich Dowling. The goal made the score 1-2. Duffield Stevenson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Iggi Magrath, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal.
