Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bud Renney made the kick off which started today's match. Navarro Clist charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Navarro Clist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Navarro Clist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tawaho getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lewis Cordrey hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Lewis Cordrey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tawaho's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Cordrey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlton Lord breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the game, Elliott Mcmurchie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bruxton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tawaho the free kick. In the 6th minute, Elliott Mcmurchie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lewis Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14thth minute of the game Bud Renney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruxton's Carlton Lord was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bruxton's zone, Rob Aylwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlton Lord came out of the goal and Rob Aylwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bud Renney in the 21st minute of play forced Bruxton's goalkeeper Carlton Lord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lewis Cordrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carlton Lord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lewis Cordrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Lord having to interfere. When Lewis Cordrey came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Tawaho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Cordrey couldn't finish the play. Carlton Lord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bud Renney in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Lewis Cordrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Tawaho's Bud Renney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlton Lord narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bud Renney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Lord having to interfere. Navarro Clist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stew Sewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Heath having to interfere. Bud Renney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Lord having to interfere. Lewis Cordrey took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlton Lord. Carlton Lord dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stew Sewell was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Bruxton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stew Sewell to maneuver through the defense. Iggi Magrath, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Bryden Baxter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlton Lord, 0-2. Carlton Lord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bud Renney, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Bud Renney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tawaho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bud Renney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bruxton's zone, Lewis Cordrey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlton Lord came out of the goal and Lewis Cordrey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Bud Renney fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lewis Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Tawaho's Carlton Lord threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bud Renney, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruxton's Carlton Lord proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Bruxton from getting a goal against them. Tawaho's Bud Renney got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
