The audience thought a goal was coming when Kirk Hayward got free with Pedro Luiz de Queiroz in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Corder Orvad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Yarrigan's Dario Cordrey tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Yarrigan booed when FC Bayern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fletcher Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan Worrall struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Pedro Luiz de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yarrigan. Sabastian Dobbing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Corder Orvad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabastian Dobbing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrod Simpson having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, FC Bayern's Sabastian Dobbing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarrod Simpson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nichol Barry during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nichol Barry kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Alan Worrall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alan Worrall to make the kick off. Pedro Luiz de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Yarrigan's Alan Worrall. But to his dismay, Alan Worrall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kirk Hayward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pedro Luiz de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Alan Worrall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yarrigan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Worrall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarrod Simpson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabastian Dobbing went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. FC Bayern's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Yarrigan had won, even though FC Bayern had held more of the ball.
