The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Minions United's Bobby Housham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Meyers in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Harrisfield's Burtt Maslin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bobby Housham was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Tinglöv dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raymond Mcinnes, 1-1. In the 24th match minute, Harrisfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Hodge to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Tinglövs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Raymond Mcinnes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Tinglöv got free with Raymond Mcinnes in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Harrisfield's Raymond Mcinnes got control of the ball when Wilhelm Tinglöv tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steve Trezise hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Minions United's goal looked a bit too open when Burtt Maslin came free, but Bobby Housham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bobby Housham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Meyers in the 44th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Connor Meyers during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Harrisfield's Connor Meyers got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Tinglöv stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Harrisfield's Mitchell Laughton got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Harrisfield getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dagan Caddick hit a great ball. Raymond Mcinnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Tinglöv in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Matthews Freel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raymond Mcinnes was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 69th minute Wilhelm Tinglöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Minions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nero Hunn to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Matthew Hodge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Harrisfield's Burtt Maslin got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Harrisfield getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dagan Caddick hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Duncan Perandis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raymond Mcinnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Wilhelm Tinglöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Mcinnes having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Matthews Freel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raymond Mcinnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Bobby Housham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burtt Maslin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Connor Meyers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harrisfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor Meyers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Minions United were the better team. Minions United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
