Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Duke Stevens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 14 minutes, Nelson Durbridge made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Willowdale's Kent Swan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Duke Stevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute of the match Rolando Beverly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conner Sperling skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Willowdale booed when Duri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyon Kennewell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willowdale's Kent Swan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Willowdale from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duke Stevens in the 32nd minute of play forced Willowdale's goalkeeper Kent Swan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Kent Swan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Duri's Conner Sperling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Stafford in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Damian Stafford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Willowdale's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Stafford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conner Sperling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Chuck Giddey made the kick off in the second half. If Duke Stevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Oliver Millar in the 61st minute really tested Conner Sperling's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Damian Stafford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Willowdale's Kent Swan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Durbridge in the 73rd minute of play. Oliver Millar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Duri's goal looked a bit too open when Chuck Giddey came free, but Conner Sperling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Willowdale's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Durbridge came free, but Kent Swan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Durbridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Duri fans cheered their team off the field, for while Willowdale had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
