Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Duke Stevens made the kick off and thus started the match. When Duke Stevens came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Duri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duke Stevens couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Carlos Connell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Sydney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Connell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conner Sperling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Connell struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Conner Sperling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Sydney FC. Nelson Durbridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Todman having to interfere. The supporters of Duri booed when Inter Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danton Holdsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Duke Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Todman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With splendid footwork Carlos Connell arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, Duri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duke Stevens to maneuver through the defense. Conner Sperling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Connell in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everitt Tenser during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Everitt Tenser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Duri got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Dale. Duke Stevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Todman having to interfere. Inter Sydney FC's Brandon Todman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duke Stevens in the 41st minute of play. Brandon Todman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duke Stevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Duke Stevens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brandon Todman having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Connell to strike the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Duri's Duke Stevens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brandon Todman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nelson Durbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Russell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Conner Sperling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conner Sperling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Connell's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duri's goalkeeper Conner Sperling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nelson Durbridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Inter Sydney FC's Carlos Connell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conner Sperling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Inter Sydney FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Duri for a fine match.
