Walpole's players were relieved. Bradford Harkness struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Murphy Tencer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walpole. Robert Watman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murphy Tencer. Chatswood Glory's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Bradford Harkness came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Walpole fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradford Harkness couldn't finish the play. Fletcher Dalglish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelius Egel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Addison having to interfere. Bradford Harkness fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murphy Tencer having to interfere. A collision led to Chatswood Glory getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Conner Willis hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Fletcher Dalglish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murphy Tencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Chatswood Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conner Willis to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Richard Aistrope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Addison. Walpole's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Aistrope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelius Egel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walpole's Fletcher Dalglish got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match, Bradford Harkness tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Murphy Tencer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chatswood Glory's Murphy Tencer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradford Harkness in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Walpole booed when Chatswood Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conner Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fletcher Dalglish fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murphy Tencer having to interfere. Walpole's Bradford Harkness was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 75th minute Bent Rheistein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murphy Tencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fletcher Dalglish succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 79th playminute. Biddle Perandis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Murphy Tencer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fletcher Dalglish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Murphy Tencer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fletcher Dalglish recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradford Harkness sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 98 minutes, Bent Rheistein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walpole and the Chatswood Glory players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bent Rheistein kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Walpole's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
