In the 15th minute, Navarro Aylwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redbacks FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 18 minutes, Luck Coleman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redbacks FC and the Chatswood Glory players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chatswood Glory booed when Redbacks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luck Coleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Navarro Aylwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chatswood Glory's Murphy Tencer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Marcus Magrath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redbacks FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Magrath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murphy Tencer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Navarro Aylwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Murphy Tencer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Navarro Aylwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murphy Tencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcus Magrath came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Redbacks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Magrath couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Redbacks FC booed when Chatswood Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conner Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murphy Tencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Aylwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Navarro Aylwin put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Murphy Tencer. Murphy Tencer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Navarro Aylwin went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Redbacks FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Chatswood Glory's goalkeeper Murphy Tencer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Navarro Aylwin. When Cod Freel fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chatswood Glory's protests and gave Cod Freel a yellow card for diving instead. Cod Freel hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Redbacks FC's Marcus Magrath sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murphy Tencer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Murphy Tencer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Navarro Aylwin in the 65th minute. With 81 minutes on the clock, Biddle Perandis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 80 minutes into the game, one of Chatswood Glory:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Redbacks FC's Marcus Magrath got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Murphy Tencer. Chatswood Glory's Murphy Tencer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Chatswood Glory from getting a goal against them. Navarro Aylwin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Chatswood Glory:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Redbacks FC:s goal. Chatswood Glory's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Marcus Magrath scored to the left of an out of position Murphy Tencer, making the score, 0-7. In the 96th minute, Marcus Magrath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phillip Williams charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phillip Williams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 98 played minutes Chatswood Glory got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Williams. When the final whistle sounded Redbacks FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chatswood Glory.
