Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arne Calver took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Arne Calver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berakin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Calver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Berakin's zone, Rodney Leach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryden Sawbridge came out of the goal and Rodney Leach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carver Wang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Calver in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Malcolm Stageman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berakin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Stageman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Czaczka might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryden Sawbridge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Czaczka ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Rodney Leach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryden Sawbridge. Berakin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodney Leach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Berakin's Arne Calver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carver Wang. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. A collision led to Bicheno getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dakota Porteus hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bicheno's Carver Wang got control of the ball when Malcolm Stageman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 played minutes Berakin got a freekick which was hit by Battle Bostock. Arne Calver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodney Leach made a kick off. Rodney Leach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryden Sawbridge came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodney Leach slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodney Leach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bryden Sawbridge. That made the score 1-3 in the 59 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Leach in the 62nd minute of play forced Berakin's goalkeeper Bryden Sawbridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robert Czaczka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bicheno booed when Berakin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clarke Veitch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Berakin's zone, Robert Czaczka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryden Sawbridge came out of the goal and Robert Czaczka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryden Sawbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Leach in the 75th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Battle Bostock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berakin and the Bicheno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Berakin got a freekick which was hit by Battle Bostock. The audience was convinced that Rodney Leach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bryden Sawbridge was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Berakin's Malcolm Stageman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carver Wang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Bryden Sawbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Leach in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bicheno eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
