Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bo Mcgrath made the kick off and thus started the match. Albury's Ace Fessey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Mcgrath in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Albury's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Mcgrath came free, but Ace Fessey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bo Mcgrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Petty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Sam Petty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quambatook the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Albury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Petty to maneuver through the defense. Connor Todman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ace Fessey made a huge save. When Quambatook's Bo Mcgrath in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albury's goalie prevented a goal. Bo Mcgrath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ace Fessey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Albury defense, Connor Todman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ace Fessey. The Albury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ace Fessey should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Quambatook's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Petty came free, but Andres Warhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Mcgrath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ace Fessey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Albury's Ace Fessey got control of the ball when Connor Todman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bo Mcgrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Quambatook's Bo Mcgrath ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ace Fessey. Ace Fessey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ace Fessey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Connor Todman in the 38th minute. Quambatook's Bo Mcgrath got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Connor Todman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ace Fessey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Connor Todman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 49 minutes into the match, Albury's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Mcgrath came free, but Ace Fessey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sam Petty was the one to do the kick off. Mack Bacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Warhurst having to interfere. The corner led to Quambatook's Jacobs Mckinley getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Albury's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Mcgrath came free, but Ace Fessey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Albury's goal looked a bit too open when Connor Todman came free, but Ace Fessey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caine Hanlen lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Andres Warhurst, was totally fooled by Albury's Edmonds Skurrie, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Connor Todman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ace Fessey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Connor Todman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ace Fessey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Todman in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Connor Todman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ace Fessey was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Ace Fessey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Connor Todman went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Amos Bridson charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amos Bridson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amos Bridson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irwin Obrien in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ace Fessey saved Albury from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Ike Gillingwater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ike Gillingwater hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Connor Todman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quambatook's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor Todman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albury's goalkeeper Ace Fessey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quambatook's Andres Warhurst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Quambatook from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quambatook had played much better football throughout.
