The tension between the Fosterville and the Erreys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Irwin Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belton Inwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Erreys's Payton Beckwith got control of the ball when Zack Wilson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stephan Boneheyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Fosterville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erreys the free kick. Belton Inwood hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Irwin Wakefield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erreys. Belton Inwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irwin Wakefield read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Stephan Boneheyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irwin Wakefield having to interfere. Payton Beckwith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nash Stebbing in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Erreys's Stew Miller got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Zack Wilson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jessop Lyle's late challenge caught a Erreys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Biddle Tevelien made a kick off. A collision led to Fosterville getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Archie Surman hit a great ball. Luck Hursey charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luck Hursey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Fosterville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luck Hursey to maneuver through the defense. Payton Beckwith came out of the goal and Biddle Tevelien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Erreys booed when Fosterville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jessop Lyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Belton Inwood who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fosterville's Irwin Wakefield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Erreys's zone, Zack Wilson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Payton Beckwith came out of the goal and Zack Wilson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
