Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diogo Mendes got the match started through his kick off. In the 2ndth minute of the game Elliot Chapman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mustard Tigers's Darin Lyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 4th minute, Mark Glover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes, Bimbi's George Atkin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Darin Lyle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bimbi reached it. A hard shot 9 in the game by Raymond Ramsay from a close distance when the talented Russel Haslem managed to make a qualified save. Bimbi's players were relieved. Kane Worrall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Diogo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russel Haslem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Russel Haslem managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Mustard Tigers's Bran Renney fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raymond Ramsay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Russel Haslem when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Russel Haslem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Mendes in the 30th minute of the match. Bimbi's Russel Haslem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Mendes in the 31st minute of play. Russel Haslem came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mustard Tigers's Raymond Ramsay. But to his dismay, Raymond Ramsay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mark Glover charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Glover the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mark Glover kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes in the game, Diogo Mendes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Russel Haslem having to interfere. Diogo Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kane Worrall made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Alan Haslem could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Darin Lyle however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymond Ramsay in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Russel Haslem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Diogo Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russel Haslem was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Russel Haslem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Ramsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bimbi's Alan Haslem slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darin Lyle. That made the score 1-1 after 65 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Mendes in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russel Haslem saved Bimbi from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Ryan Cootes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bimbi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mustard Tigers the free kick. In the 71st minute, one of Bimbi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bimbi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Haslem in the 75th minute of play forced Mustard Tigers's goalkeeper Darin Lyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Elliot Chapman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mustard Tigers's Darin Lyle. Darin Lyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Darin Lyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kane Worrall, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Mendes in the 90th minute of play forced Bimbi's goalkeeper Russel Haslem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Bimbi's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Ramsay came free, but Russel Haslem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Mendes in the 96th minute of play forced Bimbi's goalkeeper Russel Haslem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 98 minutes, Christopher Kernick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mustard Tigers and the Bimbi players grew even worse after the yellow card.
