Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diogo Mendes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th match minute, Palmwoods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernie Borserio to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Diogo Mendes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Diogo Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymond Ramsay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rod Mckinnes having to make a save. Rod Mckinnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Mendes in the 20th minute of play. If Diogo Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Mckinnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Ramsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Mendes in the 28th minute of play forced Palmwoods's goalkeeper Rod Mckinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Lambourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Lyle having to interfere. Rod Mckinnes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raymond Ramsay's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Palmwoods's Rod Mckinnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Mendes in the 38th minute of play. Carleton Leyden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Mendes in the 44th minute of play forced Palmwoods's goalkeeper Rod Mckinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Mustard Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Mendes to maneuver through the defense. The Palmwoods players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mustard Tigers were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddie Lambourne to strike the kick off in the second half. Eddie Lambourne kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Raymond Ramsay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rod Mckinnes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Rod Mckinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Mendes in the 57th minute of the match. Raymond Ramsay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Rod Mckinnes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rod Mckinnes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raymond Ramsay went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 63 played minutes Palmwoods got a freekick which was hit by Bernie Borserio. Raymond Ramsay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raymond Ramsay hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Eddie Lambourne fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmwoods's protests and gave Eddie Lambourne a yellow card for diving instead. Palmwoods's Rod Mckinnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Palmwoods from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Mendes in the 90th minute of play forced Palmwoods's goalkeeper Rod Mckinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Ramsay got free with Rod Mckinnes in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Mendes in the 95th minute of play forced Palmwoods's goalkeeper Rod Mckinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Mustard Tigers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Palmwoods throughout the match.
