Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Larkin Tevelien made the kick off which started today's match. Navarro Egel hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Douglas Carr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Couzens having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Hollisdale's Duke Triplett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregory Couzens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Douglas Carr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Carr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregory Couzens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davey Maslin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Truganina's Milton Hitchen got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gregory Couzens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Carr in the 16th minute of the match. Gregory Couzens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davey Maslin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Douglas Carr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Couzens having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Larkin Tevelien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Truganina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hollisdale the free kick. The supporters of Hollisdale booed when Truganina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larkin Tevelien didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Carr in the 23rd minute of play forced Truganina's goalkeeper Gregory Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregory Couzens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Carr's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Truganina's zone, Arthur Simpson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Couzens came out of the goal and Arthur Simpson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Douglas Carr put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gregory Couzens. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Carr in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Couzens saved Truganina from getting behind. Truganina's Gregory Couzens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davey Maslin in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Douglas Carr made the kick off in the second half. Gregory Couzens came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hollisdale's Arthur Simpson. But to his dismay, Arthur Simpson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Douglas Carr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Gregory Couzens managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Hollisdale's Douglas Carr fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Douglas Carr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hollisdale's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Carr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Couzens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duke Triplett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gregory Couzens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Douglas Carr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hollisdale's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Carr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Couzens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralph Odd thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gregory Couzens, a very annoying self made goal in the 77th minute which led to 0-6. Hollisdale's Tony Carragher got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Douglas Carr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Couzens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Carr struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gregory Couzens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hollisdale. Douglas Carr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Couzens having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Douglas Carr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hollisdale's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Carr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Couzens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hollisdale played a much better game than Truganina and deserved their victory. The Truganina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
