Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lauder Brooks took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nilson Benson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauder Brooks's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Bindoon United's Nilson Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauder Brooks in the 6th minute of play. Stephan Baxter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Stephan Baxter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Facey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Abe Batterham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rex Facey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Stephan Baxter made a precise shot to the right of Rex Facey. Leith's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bindoon United's zone, Clifford Odd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Benson came out of the goal and Clifford Odd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arneil Mcinnis charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arneil Mcinnis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Bindoon United got a freekick which was hit by Arneil Mcinnis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauder Brooks in the 34th minute of play forced Bindoon United's goalkeeper Nilson Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Benson made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Clifford Odd sent off a good shot on target. Eddy Houldsworth hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Lauder Brooks might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson Benson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauder Brooks ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute, Eddy Houldsworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leith's Clifford Odd got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abe Batterham to strike the kick off in the second half. When Clifford Odd came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Leith fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clifford Odd couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Lauder Brooks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Clifford Odd notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bindoon United's Nilson Benson. Nilson Benson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stephan Baxter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rex Facey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauder Brooks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rex Facey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abe Batterham in the 85th minute of play. If Lauder Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rex Facey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Batterham, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Leith lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
