Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Everett Cookesley started the match with the kick off. When Dwellingup's Burtt Laws in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leith's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute, Potter Voller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everett Cookesley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Facey having to interfere. A collision led to Dwellingup getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sabastian Auger hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burtt Laws in the 14th minute of play forced Leith's goalkeeper Rex Facey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dwellingup's Burtt Laws got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dwellingup's Everett Cookesley in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leith's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th match minute, Leith was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Potter Voller to maneuver through the defense. Rex Facey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burtt Laws in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Dwellingup's Everett Cookesley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rex Facey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Everett Cookesley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabastian Auger took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rex Facey. Rex Facey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Burtt Laws managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dwellingup's supporters rose to their feet, but Burtt Laws was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rex Facey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Dwellingup booed when Leith was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Porter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Burtt Laws had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Everett Cookesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Facey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauder Brooks to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Otto Whittington sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rex Facey skillfully saved the ball. Clifford Odd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam Stageman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Rex Facey made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Leith's Lauder Brooks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobie Bailey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobie Bailey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clifford Odd in the 78th minute of play. Potter Voller kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Burtt Laws managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dwellingup's supporters rose to their feet, but Burtt Laws was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rex Facey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dwight Boserio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Everett Cookesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Facey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Potter Voller kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Dwellingup played a much better game than Leith and deserved their victory. The Leith players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
