A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Wickliffe's zone, James Fordham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brannan Stebbing came out of the goal and James Fordham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Wickliffe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kane Marsland to maneuver through the defense. James Fordham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannan Stebbing having to interfere. Barth Crapp hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Blackwall's Rod Lenard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 67th match minute, Blackwall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Fordham to maneuver through the defense. James Fordham did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Brannan Stebbing 72 minutes into the match. Barth Crapp hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Brannan Stebbing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boyd Boyd in the 82nd minute. Boyd Boyd struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Brannan Stebbing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blackwall. Phillip Hines kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Brannan Stebbing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boyd Boyd in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Wickliffe's Brannan Stebbing got control of the ball when Boyd Boyd tried to sneak it across the goal line. James Fordham's late challenge caught a Wickliffe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. James Fordham helped the player get up and apologised. Wickliffe's Loud Flisfeder couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Blackwall. During the 94th minute of the match James Fordham completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave James Fordham a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
