Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Phillip Huff took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dalwood Whitsitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munroe Anders, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Munroe Anders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalwood Whitsitt. Fairyland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Munroe Anders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match Eavan White shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Earl Beverley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Munroe Anders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24thth minute of the game Bruno Howarth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fairyland's Dalwood Whitsitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brendan Butterworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dalwood Whitsitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Jordon Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairyland and the Dunbogan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dunbogan's Todd Beverly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fairyland. Brendan Butterworth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalwood Whitsitt having to make a save. Hale Wood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Munroe Anders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Munroe Anders in the 48th minute of play forced Fairyland's goalkeeper Dalwood Whitsitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Brendan Butterworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fairyland's zone, Brendan Butterworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalwood Whitsitt came out of the goal and Brendan Butterworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalwood Whitsitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Butterworth in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Munroe Anders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalwood Whitsitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fairyland's Dalwood Whitsitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Butterworth in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Dunbogan got a freekick which was hit by Munroe Anders. In the 76th minute, Drew Schulze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalwood Whitsitt came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunbogan's Brendan Butterworth. But to his dismay, Brendan Butterworth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 89 minutes into the match, Fairyland's goal looked a bit too open when Munroe Anders came free, but Dalwood Whitsitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Phillip Huff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairyland and the Dunbogan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Fairyland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Huff to maneuver through the defense. Dalwood Whitsitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brendan Butterworth went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Dunbogan were the better team. Dunbogan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
