Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when James Fordham kicked off to start the match. Boyd Boyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Russ Atterton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boyd Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martyon Digiuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rich Anderson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boyd Boyd got free with Russ Atterton in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 played minutes Blackwall got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Pickhills. 24 minutes into the match, Martyon Digiuseppe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carman Sobczak. Blackwall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martyon Digiuseppe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Isaac Nurthen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kwolyin's Russ Atterton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Kwolyin from getting a goal against them. Blackwall's Carman Sobczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyon Digiuseppe in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Martyon Digiuseppe made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Blackwall's Carman Sobczak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Russ Atterton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Fordham, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When James Fordham came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Blackwall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Fordham couldn't finish the play. After the first half Kwolyin were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Isaac Nurthen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carman Sobczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Humphrey Cowdell's late challenge caught a Kwolyin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humphrey Cowdell helped the player get up and apologised. Boyd Boyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Atterton having to interfere. Boyd Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, James Fordham notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Kwolyin's Russ Atterton. Russ Atterton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 74 minutes of play Blackwall's Humphrey Cowdell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Blackwall getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Humphrey Cowdell hit a great ball. Russ Atterton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boyd Boyd went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes Kwolyin got a freekick which was hit by Rich Anderson. Martyon Digiuseppe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Sobczak having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Buck Calver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackwall and the Kwolyin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Blackwall getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Buck Calver hit a great ball. Carman Sobczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyon Digiuseppe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kwolyin booed when Blackwall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rod Lenard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kwolyin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
