Missabotti's Dean Caddick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Missabotti from getting a goal against them. Arne Dollimore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Caddick having to interfere. Darin Haskell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Preston Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Parryman in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Sam Parryman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Preston Kerville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arne Dollimore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dean Caddick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Missabotti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arne Dollimore fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Darin Haskell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dean Caddick. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Rudolph Flesfader's late challenge caught a Missabotti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolph Flesfader helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rosetown's Rudolph Flesfader got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Rosetown booed when Missabotti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barth Mckay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Preston Kerville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barth Mckay's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Rosetown's Arne Dollimore suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Burns Wege's late challenge caught a Rosetown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Burns Wege helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Sam Parryman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Preston Kerville was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rich Delbridge hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Barth Mckay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Preston Kerville having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darin Haskell to make the kick off. Rosetown's Preston Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barth Mckay in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Darin Haskell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Caddick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rosetown's Phenix Bleazard got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rosetown's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Burns Wege was slow to take the kick. During this time Missabotti's players had a chance to rest. Burns Wege made a great header on Missabotti's corner, it was just that Rosetown's Preston Kerville managed to reach the ball for a save. Cornelius Morey's late challenge caught a Rosetown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelius Morey helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Missabotti getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cornelius Morey hit a great ball. Darin Haskell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barth Mckay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Preston Kerville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Missabotti's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Flesfader came free, but Dean Caddick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preston Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barth Mckay, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Preston Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barth Mckay in the 87th minute of play. Preston Kerville was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Barth Mckay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barth Mckay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Missabotti's Dean Caddick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Haskell in the 95th minute of play. Missabotti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
