Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nilson Moon started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wazowski FC's goalkeeper Rich Marcola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rich Marcola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Haskell, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Arne Dollimore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arne Dollimore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rich Marcola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darin Haskell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson Moon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Wazowski FC's Rich Marcola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Haskell in the 26th minute of play. If Arne Dollimore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rich Marcola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Dollimore in the 31st minute of the match. Darin Haskell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Marcola having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Nilson Moon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wazowski FC and the Rosetown players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Dollimore in the 37th minute of play forced Wazowski FC's goalkeeper Rich Marcola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rich Marcola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darin Haskell in the 42nd minute of the match. If Arne Dollimore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darin Haskell to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Wazowski FC's zone, Arne Dollimore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rich Marcola came out of the goal and Arne Dollimore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Darin Haskell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Wazowski FC's Nilson Moon got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Arne Dollimore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rich Marcola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Darin Haskell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arne Dollimore came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Rosetown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Dollimore couldn't finish the play. Nilson Moon got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Arne Dollimore's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rich Marcola firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rich Marcola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darin Haskell's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 87 played minutes Wazowski FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Pinkerton. Arne Dollimore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Marcola having to interfere. Arne Dollimore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wazowski FC's Rich Marcola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Haskell in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Rosetown players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
