To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burt Copelin succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Jenkins Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keefe Pavkovic having to interfere. Burt Copelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 minutes, Craig Rizzardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ultima and the Currie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Craig Rizzardo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Currie's Broderick Stevens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Keefe Pavkovic but with some difficulty. Keefe Pavkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jenkins Bailey in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burt Copelin made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Burt Copelin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ultima's Keefe Pavkovic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Burt Copelin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keefe Pavkovic having to make a save. In the 73rd minute Burt Copelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keefe Pavkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keefe Pavkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jenkins Bailey in the 75th minute of play. If Burt Copelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jenkins Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keefe Pavkovic having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Jenkins Bailey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keefe Pavkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 91 minutes of play, Currie's Jenkins Bailey made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
