When Arty Isaac fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winners's protests and gave Arty Isaac a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Arty Isaac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Winners's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Conlan came free, but Edison Rutledge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Isaac struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jake Everett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winners. Andrews Weller hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jason Isaac had several of the Dinyarrak's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jake Everett as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jake Everett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Isaac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregory Kinsey got free with Jake Everett in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Gregory Kinsey made a precise shot to the right of Jake Everett. Dinyarrak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jason Isaac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winners's supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Isaac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Everett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lorimer Cochrane came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorimer Cochrane couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dinyarrak's Otto Mcgaw got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jake Everett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Isaac in the 43rd minute of play. If Jason Isaac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jake Everett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Isaac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jason Isaac to make the kick off. Arty Isaac hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ian Deal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jake Everett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arty Isaac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregory Kinsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Everett having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Isaac in the 60th minute of play forced Dinyarrak's goalkeeper Jake Everett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Dinyarrak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Mcgaw to maneuver through the defense. Winners were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Dinyarrak's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Earl Chute took the corner. The corner led Winners's Earl Chute to fire away a dangerous shot which Jake Everett despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jason Isaac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Winners booed when Dinyarrak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niles Tauschke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Dinyarrak got a freekick which was hit by Andrews Weller. When Gregory Kinsey came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Kinsey couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Isaac in the 85th minute of play forced Dinyarrak's goalkeeper Jake Everett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Everett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arty Isaac in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dinyarrak's zone, Gregory Kinsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Everett came out of the goal and Gregory Kinsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Gregory Kinsey notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Dinyarrak's Jake Everett. Jake Everett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Winners's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
