In the 34th minute Lorimer Cochrane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregg Groves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Arty Isaac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winners and the Moorna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Arty Isaac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Moorna's Edison Rutledge threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Mogork, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Winners booed when Moorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Handley Kennewell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Mogork stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Jason Isaac came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jason Isaac couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kyle Mogork sped through Winners's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edison Rutledge. 57 minutes into the match, Winners's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Mogork came free, but Edison Rutledge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jason Isaac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gregg Groves. That made the score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Gregory Kinsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gregg Groves made a huge save. After 69 minutes, Jason Isaac made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Moorna's Gregg Groves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Mogork in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edison Rutledge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edison Rutledge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nash Clarke in the 78th minute of play. Gregg Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Isaac, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Handley Kennewell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregory Kinsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gregg Groves made a huge save. In the 89th minute Kyle Mogork shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edison Rutledge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
