Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Gannan started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Milparinka's goal looked a bit too open when Brock Conlan came free, but Damon Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Sam Norman made a precise shot to the right of Damon Waller. Milparinka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Andrews Mcvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Gannan in the 10th minute of the match. Carani's Andrews Mcvey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Kreck in the 11th minute of play. When Ivan Gannan came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Milparinka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Gannan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Norman in the 16th minute of play forced Milparinka's goalkeeper Damon Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Sylvester made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Brock Conlan immediately put the ball in play. When Burns Porteus came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Milparinka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burns Porteus couldn't finish the play. In the 29th match minute, Carani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Norman to maneuver through the defense. Damon Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Conlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Burns Porteus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrews Mcvey. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carani's Logan Aliendi got a free kick in the 46th minute. Clay Laycock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brock Conlan made a kick off. When Ivan Gannan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andrews Mcvey was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Burns Porteus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damon Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Conlan in the 60th minute of play. Burns Porteus kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Brock Conlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brock Conlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Clay Laycock fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milparinka's protests and gave Clay Laycock a yellow card for diving instead. Andrews Mcvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clay Laycock, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ivan Gannan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrews Mcvey having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Burns Porteus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milparinka's supporters rose to their feet, but Burns Porteus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrews Mcvey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam Norman kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Kent Kreck struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Andrews Mcvey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milparinka. 80 minutes into the match, Sam Norman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damon Waller. Milparinka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Norman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Tiger Sugden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Damon Waller made a huge save. Damon Waller made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Neale Watson sent off a good shot on target. Andrews Mcvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burns Porteus in the 87th minute of the match. When Milparinka's Ivan Gannan in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carani's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Sam Norman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damon Waller. Sam Norman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Although Milparinka had been in control for most of the match, Carani still came away with the win.
