But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Ramsay couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodd Dollymore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodd Dollymore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrews Mcvey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Nikenbah booed when Carani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Mckinley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brock Conlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Peter Ramsay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tiger Sugden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute Brock Conlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zack Christian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikenbah's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
