Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Peter Ramsay got the match started through his kick off. Gregg Groves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Conlan in the 3rd minute of play. Andrews Mcvey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nash Clarke in the 7th minute of play. Andrews Mcvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Mogork, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Kyle Mogork managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Mogork was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Moorna booed when Carani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiger Sugden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Mogork took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrews Mcvey. Andrews Mcvey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 23 minutes of play, Moorna's Kyle Mogork made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrews Mcvey was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Ramsay in the 26th minute of play forced Moorna's goalkeeper Gregg Groves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moorna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carl Sylvester was slow to take the kick. During this time Carani's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Sam Norman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Kyle Mogork received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Andrews Mcvey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrews Mcvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Mogork, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Andrews Mcvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Mogork in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Moorna's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Ramsay came free, but Gregg Groves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Mogork to strike the kick off in the second half. Gregg Groves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lowrey Fortington in the 61st minute of play. Kyle Mogork blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrews Mcvey having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Mogork in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrews Mcvey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moorna's Nash Clarke got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Carani's zone, Kyle Mogork stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrews Mcvey came out of the goal and Kyle Mogork tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Moorna's Kyle Mogork sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrews Mcvey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute Moorna were awarded a corner. Nash Clarke went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th match minute, Moorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porter Mewburn to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes, Peter Ramsay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carani and the Moorna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peter Ramsay hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brock Conlan in the 87th minute of play forced Moorna's goalkeeper Gregg Groves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Carani booed when Moorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grant Dollamore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregg Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiger Sugden, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to Moorna getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Niles Neich hit a great ball. Moorna played a much better game than Carani and deserved their victory. The Carani players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
