Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Corbett Auger kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Corbett Auger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Song Lam Nghe An's supporters rose to their feet, but Corbett Auger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Everett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Mcgaw during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jake Everett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthews Will in the 15th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Dinyarrak's Browne Guy got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benjy Richard. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Song Lam Nghe An:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dinyarrak:s goal. Jake Everett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corbett Auger went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jake Everett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corbett Auger's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When Corbett Auger came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Song Lam Nghe An fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corbett Auger couldn't finish the play. When Donovan Dollimore fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinyarrak's protests and gave Donovan Dollimore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Donovan Dollimore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Milton Conlan made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Corbett Auger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjy Richard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Deal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milton Conlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjy Richard having to interfere. Crawford Alwege charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Crawford Alwege the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 66 minutes into the match, Milton Conlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjy Richard. Song Lam Nghe An's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milton Conlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 76th minute, Donovan Dollimore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dinyarrak's goalkeeper Jake Everett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 minutes of play Dinyarrak's Otto Mcgaw was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Otto Mcgaw hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ian Deal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, one of Dinyarrak:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dinyarrak. Jonathan Auger placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Matthews Will sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinyarrak's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
