Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Gannan started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Raymond Woodbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damon Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Gannan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Gregg Groves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, Nash Clarke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damon Waller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Gannan might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregg Groves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Gannan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Kyle Mogork left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moorna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Burns Porteus hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Kyle Mogork shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damon Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moorna's zone, Kent Kreck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregg Groves came out of the goal and Kent Kreck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damon Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Mogork, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Bart Whitmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Gannan might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregg Groves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Gannan ran back to his position shaking his head.

Kyle Mogork received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Damon Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damon Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Mogork in the 58th minute of play. Niles Neich's late challenge caught a Milparinka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niles Neich helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moorna getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Raymond Woodbridge hit a great ball. Damon Waller was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kyle Mogork showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Raymond Woodbridge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damon Waller, 0-4. Kyle Mogork struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Damon Waller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moorna. 85 minutes into the match, Kyle Mogork dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damon Waller, 0-5. Kyle Mogork's late challenge caught a Milparinka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyle Mogork helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Moorna's Kyle Mogork got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Moorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Handley Kennewell to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Milparinka's Clay Laycock broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Milparinka's Damon Waller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Milparinka from getting a goal against them.
