Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Cobbadah's Keefer Gillingwater got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmichael Huntington in the 5th minute of play forced Meandarra's goalkeeper Jarrett Slattery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmichael Huntington in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Slattery saved Meandarra from getting behind. Cobbadah's Luke Butterworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Pywell in the 19th minute of play. Cobbadah's Luke Butterworth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Cobbadah from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 28 in the game by Martin Brotherton from a close distance when the talented Luke Butterworth managed to make a qualified save. Cobbadah's players were relieved. In the 30th minute, Carmichael Huntington made a precise shot to the right of Jarrett Slattery. Meandarra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Darryl Pywell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 38 minutes, Carmichael Huntington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobbadah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmichael Huntington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Cobbadah fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Cobbadah's Carmichael Huntington looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Darryl Pywell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Butterworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Pywell in the 56th minute of the match. Martin Brotherton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cobbadah's Luke Butterworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Pywell in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Darian Smee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarrett Slattery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmichael Huntington's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Darryl Pywell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Butterworth having to interfere. Luke Butterworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Pywell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carmichael Huntington came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cobbadah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmichael Huntington couldn't finish the play. After having played for 76 minutes, Martin Brotherton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meandarra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Brotherton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luke Butterworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Pywell in the 79th minute of play. Luke Butterworth came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Meandarra's Darryl Pywell. But to his dismay, Darryl Pywell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
