Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barnabas Woods started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Duffield Adair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mingoola and the Moorland players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Moorland booed when Mingoola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duffield Adair didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philip Luckham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliot Guy in the 4th minute of the match. Bran Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Seistrup having to interfere. Moorland's Brandon Seistrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bran Bennett in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moorland's Gregg Dillon got a free kick in the 15th minute. Bran Bennett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Brandon Seistrup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mingoola's Bran Bennett got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 23rd minute of the match Duffield Adair completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Duffield Adair a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Moorland booed when Mingoola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duffield Adair didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Barnabas Woods managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moorland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabas Woods was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodd Woodbridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Seistrup having to interfere. Bran Bennett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mingoola booed when Moorland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregg Dillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodd Woodbridge in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brandon Seistrup, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th minute, Edwardo Stafford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Moorland's Brandon Seistrup got control of the ball when Rodd Woodbridge tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moorland's zone, Rodd Woodbridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Seistrup came out of the goal and Rodd Woodbridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Bran Bennett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mingoola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bran Bennett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brandon Seistrup made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodd Woodbridge in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Edwardo Stafford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Seistrup having to interfere. Eliot Guy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philip Luckham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Philip Luckham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliot Guy in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Rodd Woodbridge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brandon Seistrup was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Rodd Woodbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Seistrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwardo Stafford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Gregg Dillon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moorland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mingoola the free kick. Gregg Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mingoola's Reginald Maddern couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Moorland. After a defensive mix-up in Moorland's zone, Rodd Woodbridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Seistrup came out of the goal and Rodd Woodbridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Barnabas Woods dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Philip Luckham, 1-1. If Rodd Woodbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mingoola were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
