Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) Brooker Weeks came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Johanz FC's Ian Flisfeder. But to his dismay, Ian Flisfeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ian Flisfeder scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brooker Weeks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Johanz FC's Ian Flisfeder, in the 12th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Johanz FC. Henry Hursey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodney Jury's late challenge caught a Johanz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodney Jury helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Southern Sharks! The referee gave Johanz FC a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henry Aroege, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Southern Sharks's Brooker Weeks. 0-3. Ian Flisfeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johanz FC's Barnabas Chamberlain suffered a concussion after 23 minutes and had to leave the field. When Kirby Mitchell fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southern Sharks's protests and gave Kirby Mitchell a yellow card for diving instead. If Henry Hursey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Southern Sharks's Jerrard Hess got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Henry Aroege sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Southern Sharks's Brooker Weeks didn't even have to move. Henry Hursey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Flisfeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brooker Weeks having to interfere. Johanz FC's Henry Hursey got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Flisfeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brooker Weeks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Tiger Will almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Southern Sharks's Brooker Weeks did a great save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Fraser was the one to do the kick off. When Henry Hursey came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Johanz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Hursey couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Southern Sharks's zone, Henry Hursey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brooker Weeks came out of the goal and Henry Hursey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, Johanz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Facey to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes, Southern Sharks's Billy Hursey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jared Porteus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Southern Sharks reached it. With a little luck, Southern Sharks's Brooker Weeks got control of the ball when Henry Hursey tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Marcus Fraser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Johanz FC's Jared Porteus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marcus Fraser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Best Mogork received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jared Porteus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Marcus Fraser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jared Porteus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Southern Sharks's Brooker Weeks got control of the ball when Henry Hursey tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Henry Hursey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Johanz FC's Tiger Will got a free kick in the 86th minute. Henry Hursey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Southern Sharks defense, Ralph Mccormick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brooker Weeks. The Southern Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brooker Weeks should have stopped the shot. Kirby Mitchell kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Johanz FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Southern Sharks.
