Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brook Stanton kicked off to start the match. Nicholas Markwell hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Darryl Laughton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Markwell in the 7th minute of play. Perth Kickers's Darryl Laughton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Markwell in the 10th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Navarro Powell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dapto and the Perth Kickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Dapto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Navarro Powell to maneuver through the defense. When Dalwood Skurrie came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Dapto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalwood Skurrie couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes of play, Dapto's Nicholas Markwell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darryl Laughton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dalwood Skurrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Darryl Laughton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Dalwood Skurrie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Darryl Laughton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Limmer got free with Andy Kirkham in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darryl Laughton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalwood Skurrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Perth Kickers's zone, Blade Cuddihy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Laughton came out of the goal and Blade Cuddihy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darryl Laughton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Leyden in the 43rd minute of play. Dallas Mcneven kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Dalwood Skurrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Darryl Laughton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perth Kickers's Darryl Laughton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalwood Skurrie in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalwood Skurrie was the one to do the kick off. Irwin Rishton made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Peter Limmer. Dalwood Skurrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Lewis Leyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Laughton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dale Dollimore charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dale Dollimore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Dale Dollimore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Perth Kickers's Peter Limmer tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Peter Limmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Kirkham having to make a save. Darryl Laughton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalwood Skurrie's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Aron Nunn, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Lewis Leyden dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Darryl Laughton, 0-3. Dalwood Skurrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicholas Markwell got free with Darryl Laughton in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Dapto's Darryl Laughton threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalwood Skurrie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Perth Kickers's zone, Nicholas Markwell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Laughton came out of the goal and Nicholas Markwell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes of play, Dapto's Dalwood Skurrie made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darryl Laughton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Limmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Dapto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Perth Kickers throughout the match.
