Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ian Flisfeder kicked off to start the match. Darryl Laughton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Flisfeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Ian Flisfeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Johanz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Flisfeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darryl Laughton acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Henry Aroege. After some careless play in the Perth Kickers defense, Ian Flisfeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darryl Laughton. The Perth Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darryl Laughton should have stopped the shot. A hard shot by Boris Sparrow from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Darryl Laughton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 25 played minutes Johanz FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Sparrow. A hard shot 33 in the game by Ralph Mccormick from a close distance when the talented Darryl Laughton managed to make a qualified save. Perth Kickers's players were relieved. When Johanz FC's Ian Flisfeder, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Johanz FC. The supporters of Johanz FC booed when Perth Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barth Hines didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Perth Kickers's Darryl Laughton got control of the ball when Henry Hursey tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Perth Kickers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henry Hursey fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brook Stanton to make the kick off. Perth Kickers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Limmer in the 52nd minute. After taking down the ball on Perth Kickers's corner Peter Limmer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jared Porteus quite easily take care of the ball. In the 54th minute, Irwin Rishton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Ian Flisfeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Laughton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Henry Hursey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Henry Hursey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darryl Laughton. Perth Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Hursey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Darryl Laughton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Hursey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perth Kickers's Darryl Laughton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabas Chamberlain in the 66th minute of play. Boris Sparrow charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Sparrow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Boris Sparrow kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Darryl Laughton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabas Chamberlain in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Johanz FC's zone, Ringo Ward stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jared Porteus came out of the goal and Ringo Ward tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ian Flisfeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Hursey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Laughton having to interfere. Ian Flisfeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Darryl Laughton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Johanz FC fully deserved thier win.
