Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Johanz FC's Ian Flisfeder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Blade Cuddihy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jared Porteus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnabas Chamberlain hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Johanz FC's Jared Porteus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalwood Skurrie in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicholas Markwell in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jared Porteus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andy Kirkham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Hursey in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Dapto getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lewis Leyden hit a great ball. Jared Porteus was a little too slow when Dalwood Skurrie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Henry Hursey hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Andy Kirkham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Hursey, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 46 minutes, Dalwood Skurrie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dapto and the Johanz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalwood Skurrie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalwood Skurrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalwood Skurrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Blade Cuddihy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nicholas Markwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Rod Carlisle had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Dapto's Randolph Magnay was substituted for Rod Carlisle. Tiger Will kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Johanz FC's Barnabas Chamberlain got a free kick in the 78th minute. Henry Hursey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jared Porteus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalwood Skurrie in the 87th minute of play. Dapto's Dale Dollimore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Boris Sparrow, made in the 93rd minute of the game. Dale Dollimore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jared Porteus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dapto were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Johanz FC to leave the ground with a draw.
