Darian Cave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Rowden having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Weller during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alford Williams was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Perthville's Burtt Muller got a free kick in the 56th minute. A hard shot by Norman Potter from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Elliot Rowden's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darian Cave in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliot Rowden saved Perthville from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Tangalooma got a freekick which was hit by Dakota Houldsworth. Alford Williams's late challenge caught a Tangalooma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alford Williams helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Perthville getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alford Williams hit a great ball. Alford Williams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Darian Cave got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Perthville's goalkeeper Elliot Rowden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dakota Houldsworth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alford Williams in the 77th minute of play forced Tangalooma's goalkeeper Howie Petty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howie Petty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Williams in the 79th minute of play. If Alford Williams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Tangalooma getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Norman Potter hit a great ball. Dakota Houldsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Rowden having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
