Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bryant Connell got the match started through his kick off. Jacobs Turnor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jasmine Kuskopf made a huge save. Justin Grieve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Grieve struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jasmine Kuskopf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tawa Wolves. Jasmine Kuskopf made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Justin Grieve sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Huon getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Phil Gray hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Abbott Kennedy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tawa Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbott Kennedy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasmine Kuskopf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 played minutes Huon got a freekick which was hit by Phil Gray. A hard shot 23 in the game by Justin Grieve from a close distance when the talented Jasmine Kuskopf managed to make a qualified save. Huon's players were relieved. Justin Grieve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Abbott Kennedy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tawa Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abbott Kennedy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justin Grieve got free with Jasmine Kuskopf in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abbott Kennedy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Tawa Wolves's Abbott Kennedy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jasmine Kuskopf. Jasmine Kuskopf yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Tawa Wolves's Abbott Kennedy in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huon's goalie prevented a goal. Jasmine Kuskopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbott Kennedy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abbott Kennedy made a kick off. After 53 minutes Huon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Biddle Lawson who took care of the corner kick. Irving Spinder made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Adam Kepert sent off a good shot on target. Jasmine Kuskopf came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Tawa Wolves's Justin Grieve. But to his dismay, Justin Grieve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Tawa Wolves's Lowrey Mcgaw got a free kick in the 61st minute. Tawa Wolves's Abbott Kennedy got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jasmine Kuskopf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abbott Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Adam Kepert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Abbott Kennedy managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Abbott Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A beautiful save bye Huon's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Bryant Connell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Irving Spinder, 2-1. If Abbott Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tawa Wolves's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
