Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Payton Samuels took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darian Cave in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Mudie saved Longley from getting behind. Howie Petty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Payton Samuels, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Navarro Fitzpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Howie Petty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tangalooma's Howie Petty proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Tangalooma from getting a goal against them. Longley's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Randell Monck in the 14th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tangalooma's goalie and right to Murphy Cooney. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tangalooma's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Longley booed when Tangalooma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jessop Brading didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Mudie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darian Cave in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Darian Cave left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tangalooma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dakota Houldsworth's late challenge caught a Longley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dakota Houldsworth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Dakota Houldsworth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tangalooma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Dakota Houldsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dakota Houldsworth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Mudie having to make a save. If Dakota Houldsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darian Cave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Mudie having to interfere. Dakota Houldsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, one of Tangalooma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tangalooma. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Longley's Randell Monck got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Howie Petty.

52 minutes into the match, Longley's goalkeeper Marco Mudie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dakota Houldsworth. With his leg Marco Mudie managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Tangalooma's Dakota Houldsworth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marco Mudie was a little too slow when Darian Cave got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-3. Howie Petty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Payton Samuels in the 61st minute of play. Payton Samuels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Howie Petty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darian Cave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Andres Weller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Payton Samuels made a precise shot to the right of Howie Petty. Tangalooma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Howie Petty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Fitzpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Dakota Houldsworth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Marco Mudie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Darian Cave's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Mudie was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Darian Cave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Longley's Bock Lovis got a free kick in the 90th minute. Norman Potter, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Darian Cave recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Longley supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tangalooma's performance. The match ended with a win for Tangalooma.
