Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abbott Kennedy started the match with the kick off. Elliot Rowden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abbott Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Abbott Kennedy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Rowden having to interfere. A collision led to Perthville getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alford Williams hit a great ball. Abbott Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Elliot Rowden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perthville's Elliot Rowden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbott Kennedy in the 19th minute of play. Elliot Rowden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justin Grieve's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Remy Markou's late challenge caught a Perthville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Markou helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Remy Markou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Perthville's Alford Williams slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irving Spinder. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. 31 minutes into the match, Edwardo Hodge notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tawa Wolves's Irving Spinder. Irving Spinder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Justin Grieve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Tawa Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loyd Huff to maneuver through the defense. Edwardo Hodge struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Irving Spinder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perthville. When Tawa Wolves's Justin Grieve in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perthville's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Tawa Wolves booed when Perthville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perthville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tawa Wolves the free kick. The supporters of Tawa Wolves booed when Perthville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Heberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Biddle Lawson, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alford Williams made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Tawa Wolves's Biddle Lawson got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meyer Tongs in the 58th minute of play forced Tawa Wolves's goalkeeper Irving Spinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Perthville's goalkeeper Elliot Rowden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Grieve. Abbott Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Grieve in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elliot Rowden, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Loyd Huff kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Irving Spinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alford Williams in the 72nd minute of the match. Edwardo Hodge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irving Spinder having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Irving Spinder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Perthville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justin Grieve fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Howard Leach during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Howard Leach hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Perthville's Edwardo Hodge managed to work through Tawa Wolves's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edwardo Hodge dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Perthville fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tawa Wolves had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
