The supporters of Tangalooma booed when Cottonvale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braedan Orr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dakota Houldsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Loud Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loud Alcock had great luck who in the 35thth minute grab hold of the ball when Darian Cave from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Darian Cave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loud Alcock having to interfere. A collision led to Cottonvale getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ray Claringbold hit a great ball. If Dakota Houldsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. In the 52ndth minute of the game Darian Cave who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cottonvale's Loud Alcock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loud Alcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darian Cave, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darian Cave in the 58th minute of play forced Cottonvale's goalkeeper Loud Alcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cottonvale's Bob Ramsay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tangalooma. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dakota Houldsworth in the 73rd minute of play forced Cottonvale's goalkeeper Loud Alcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dakota Houldsworth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cottonvale's Loud Alcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darian Cave in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Darian Cave who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cottonvale's Loud Alcock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th match minute, Cottonvale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Claringbold to maneuver through the defense.
