Jasmine Kuskopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Payton Samuels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jasmine Kuskopf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Payton Samuels's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Huon's Jasmine Kuskopf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navarro Fitzpatrick in the 14th minute of play. Navarro Fitzpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bryan Roach kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Humphrey Mcenally fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huon's protests and gave Humphrey Mcenally a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huon! Jasmine Kuskopf had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Randell Monck's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Longley's Randell Monck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jasmine Kuskopf was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 25 played minutes Huon got a freekick which was hit by Sam Borserio. The corner led to Longley's Jenkins Hoey getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bock Lovis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Navarro Fitzpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jasmine Kuskopf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Navarro Fitzpatrick made a precise shot to the right of Jasmine Kuskopf. Huon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Adam Kepert succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 42nd playminute. The Huon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Longley were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bryant Connell was the one to do the kick off. Phil Gray hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the game, Payton Samuels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jasmine Kuskopf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jasmine Kuskopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Payton Samuels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Payton Samuels in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jasmine Kuskopf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaffery Castray kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Bryant Connell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Longley's Marco Mudie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Payton Samuels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasmine Kuskopf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Longley's zone, Adam Kepert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Mudie came out of the goal and Adam Kepert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Huon's goalkeeper Jasmine Kuskopf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bock Lovis. If Payton Samuels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Payton Samuels took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Jasmine Kuskopf to make any attempt to save it. When Jess Freel fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Longley's protests and gave Jess Freel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Huon booed when Longley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jess Freel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Navarro Fitzpatrick struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jasmine Kuskopf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longley. Longley's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
