Brye Mealmaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Franklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 31 minutes, Ivan Cookesley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gundary and the FC Infinity players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gundary's Ivan Cookesley got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Abe Franklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. Dallas Krause recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Ward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Burns Haslem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Infinity's zone, George Ward stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berke Coleman came out of the goal and George Ward tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burns Haslem in the 67th minute of play forced FC Infinity's goalkeeper Berke Coleman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Cookesley got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC Infinity booed when Gundary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Cookesley didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Infinity's Berry Thiele was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brye Mealmaker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brye Mealmaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dallas Krause, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Brye Mealmaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abe Franklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Dallas Krause shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brye Mealmaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
