Brice Rutledge charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brice Rutledge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barnes Millar was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Central Coast Spurs got a freekick which was hit by Nathaniel Goodward. Bremen Egel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Art Orr. Central Coast Spurs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Burtt Cridland hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ozzie Weller in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Art Orr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Baxter Smalley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzie Weller in the 68th minute of play forced Central Coast Spurs's goalkeeper Art Orr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Ozzie Weller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Roy Millar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Art Orr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ozzie Weller made a precise shot to the right of Art Orr. Central Coast Spurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Ozzie Weller came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Kundabung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozzie Weller couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Barnes Millar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cole Shipp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
