Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Burns Haslem took the kick off in the first half of the match. Brye Mealmaker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corey Anders in the 4th minute. Corey Anders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Brye Mealmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gundary's Brye Mealmaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnes Millar in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burns Haslem in the 19th minute of play forced Central Coast Spurs's goalkeeper Art Orr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burns Haslem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Orr having to interfere. Gregg Hamilton hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Central Coast Spurs's Corey Anders nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brye Mealmaker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Hale Rishton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barnes Millar in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brye Mealmaker saved Gundary from getting behind. Corey Anders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gundary getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hale Rishton hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnes Millar to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Burns Haslem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Art Orr. That made the score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Art Orr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burns Haslem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Ward got free with Art Orr in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, Gundary's Cregan Weller broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burns Haslem in the 74th minute of play forced Central Coast Spurs's goalkeeper Art Orr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, George Ward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Burns Haslem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gundary's supporters rose to their feet, but Burns Haslem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Art Orr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Cregan Weller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Burtt Cridland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brye Mealmaker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 88 minutes in the game, Burns Haslem fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Art Orr having to interfere. Burns Haslem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Orr having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Gregg Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gundary's Burns Haslem got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Gundary players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Central Coast Spurs from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
