Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Arrested Developers's Todd Conlin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Larry Mitchell scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darrell Borserio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes in the game, Jarrod Eicke fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Curtis Shortus having to interfere. Curtis Shortus made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Jarrod Eicke sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th match minute, Quandary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Bleazard to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Arrested Developers were awarded a corner. Barney Osbiston went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Arrested Developers's Barney Osbiston to fire away a dangerous shot which Curtis Shortus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Arrested Developers getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Corder Russell hit a great ball. Carleton Neich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Darrell Borserio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ringo Chapman fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrested Developers's protests and gave Ringo Chapman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Ringo Chapman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlisle Yard during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Arrested Developers got a freekick which was hit by Carlisle Yard. Danny Allcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrell Borserio having to interfere. If Carleton Neich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Burns Willding came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Quandary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burns Willding couldn't finish the play. Carleton Neich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrell Borserio having to interfere. If Larry Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Curtis Shortus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Conlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Carleton Neich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Larry Mitchell made a kick off. Darrell Borserio made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Carleton Neich sent off a good shot on target. Quandary's Curtis Shortus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Conlin in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Arrested Developers's goalkeeper Darrell Borserio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Bleazard. Darin Kaine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Darrell Borserio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Arrested Developers's zone, Carleton Neich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darrell Borserio came out of the goal and Carleton Neich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burns Willding during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Burns Willding kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Jarrod Eicke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Shortus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darrell Borserio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Mitchell, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Quandary getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Carleton Neich hit a great ball. If Edgar Bleazard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carleton Neich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Darrell Borserio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darrell Borserio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carleton Neich in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arrested Developers's zone, Carleton Neich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darrell Borserio came out of the goal and Carleton Neich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Darrell Borserio managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Quandary's Carleton Neich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Carleton Neich came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Quandary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carleton Neich couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Larry Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quandary's supporters rose to their feet, but Larry Mitchell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darrell Borserio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quandary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
