Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pearce Gavin kicked off to start the match. If Pearce Gavin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Rusty Mcenally was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moonijin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bower the free kick. 9 minutes into the match, Moonijin's goal looked a bit too open when Pearce Gavin came free, but Brookes Lawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Hanslow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Reilly having to interfere. Malcolm Reilly didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Moonijin's Edmund Hanslow shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Malcolm Reilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Behla, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Aaron Behla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malcolm Reilly was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Edwin Turnbull recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Alwege charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Alwege the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Bower was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Alwege to maneuver through the defense. Brookes Lawson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearce Gavin in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Edmund Hanslow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Reilly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Alwege hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Hanslow to make the kick off. Pearce Gavin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Brookes Lawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Reilly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Behla in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Pearce Gavin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bower's supporters rose to their feet, but Pearce Gavin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brookes Lawson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Moonijin's Malcolm Reilly threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmund Hanslow, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edmund Hanslow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Reilly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pearce Gavin in the 76th minute of play forced Moonijin's goalkeeper Brookes Lawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Moonijin getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rusty Mcenally hit a great ball. Brookes Lawson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearce Gavin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Pearce Gavin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Hanslow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Malcolm Reilly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moonijin's Brookes Lawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Gavin in the 93rd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Pearce Gavin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brookes Lawson. Moonijin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pearce Gavin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 97th minute, Nathan Ramsay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moonijin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
