Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodney Wayland kicked off to start the match. Brice Christina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Curtis Shortus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Curtis Shortus throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rodney Wayland in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 11 minutes, Myles Cudmore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sherbrooke and the Quandary players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Sherbrooke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quandary:s goal. When Sherbrooke's Rodney Wayland in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quandary's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 played minutes Rodney Wayland rounded Quandary's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodney Wayland in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Curtis Shortus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sherbrooke's goalkeeper Dalwood Jeffress, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sherbrooke's Brice Christina got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Carleton Neich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalwood Jeffress was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Carleton Neich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Brice Christina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sherbrooke's supporters rose to their feet, but Brice Christina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curtis Shortus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 39 minutes, Larry Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quandary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larry Mitchell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Malcolm Cuddihy in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quandary's Michael Maunsell. In the 45th minute Darin Kaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalwood Jeffress saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carleton Neich struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dalwood Jeffress didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quandary. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larry Mitchell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Abraham Skittrall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Shortus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Malcolm Cuddihy threw the ball into play from the sideline. Quandary's Edgar Bleazard quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Larry Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Burns Willding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quandary and the Sherbrooke players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Rodney Wayland came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Sherbrooke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodney Wayland couldn't finish the play. Carleton Neich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalwood Jeffress having to make a save. Malcolm Cuddihy kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Christina in the 83rd minute of play forced Quandary's goalkeeper Curtis Shortus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sherbrooke booed when Quandary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Bleazard didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sherbrooke getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Eavan Mcinnes hit a great ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sherbrooke's goalkeeper Dalwood Jeffress, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Larry Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quandary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
